More and more concert venues throughout the country are inviting electronic dance music (EDM) artists onto their stages. This is exciting, but if you’re not familiar with the EDM scene, you might feel a little out of sorts attending your first rave. Check out these tips to learn how to get rave-ready and have a great time:

1. Learn as much as you can about the artist and listen to some of their hits before you show up to the event.
2. Dress the part by buying rave gear, which is very different from most concert clothing.
3. Come prepared to dance all night long because DJ sets can last hours or all night.
